NOTES: A little history about Hennes, The business was established in 1947 by Erling Persson when he opened his first shop in Västerås, Sweden. In 1952, the Swedish clothing retailer Hennes made a significant transformation. Originally, it catered exclusively to women, and its name meant “Hers” in Swedish. In 1968, Persson acquired the hunting apparel retailer Mauritz Widforss in Stockholm, which led to the inclusion of a menswear collection in the product range, and the name was changed to Hennes & Mauritz. In 1974 they shortened the name, we now know as H&M. Making this vintage dress from the era between 1947-1952!!!
